We excel in precision ID and OD grinding for fine finishes, close tolerances, tapered hole grinding, roundness, & material removal. With the use of precision checking air-gage equipment, North Central Machine is dedicated to meeting the accuracy of even the closest tolerance requirements.
One example of a unique ID grinding job at North Central Machine is an M4 part heat treated to 66 Rockwell, and ground within +/- .0001 of the tolerances required. NCM processes dozens of these parts on a weekly basis with speed and accuracy, saving customers time and money in the long run.
Though we are a small machine shop in Northern Michigan, we have several Universal Grinders in our new, state-of-the-art facility in order to support our customer’s ID/OD grinding needs.
